  • Hear the stories of Wanda and Dutchess and Harold. 
  • Help feed (or observe from a distance) the chooks, the lambs and turkeys
  • Visit with your hosts in the old farmhouse for a coffee or glass of wine and a chat on the deck over looking the valley to Pataua South or experience a meal being prepared before you.
  • Every encounter offers a new vista and insight and you can be as independant or interactive as YOU choose.

Further afield you can enjoy Walks, Tramping, Hiking, Cycling, Swimming, Kayaking, Fishing and unspoiled beaches far from the madding croud.  There is a GAS staion, liquor store, cafe and small supermarket in the village 6km away. Art Galleries, Cafes and Parua Bay Tavern.  The most beautiful beaches of course are right here in Whangarei Heads.

  • Abbey Caves and the AH Reed Kauri Park walk from the big Kauri Tree to the Whangarei Falls - just 15minutes drive away,
  • a round of golf at one of four courses just 9 to 30 minutes away
