Once upon a fine, fine day at Ridgeland, Ada was out on the rounds with camera. There is a spot in the back paddock where the land rises to the top of a quarry, and framed in aged Puriri trees there lies befor one rolling landscape to the Hen and Chicken Islands on the horizon.
Out came the camera, all focused and ready to go - snap. However, Evan just passed infront of me as the shutter fired. Undaunted I soomed in for an even better attempt. Than's when 'Aunty' crossed the scene, hot on Evan's heels and mooing persistantly to attract his attention. It wasn't until it all appeared on the computer screen that the true vision unfolded.
